About Aishah Peacock

I am an experienced nurse with current AHPRA registration and I have passion for nursing, disability care. I have experience in paediatric, general acute and surgical nursing. For the past years I have worked as part of the busy team at Queensland Children’s Hospital in the oncology and Bone marrow transplant, including reliving at paediatric intensive care unit, emergency department, Princess Alexandria hospital, Greenslopes private hospital and worked across Brisbane through first choice nursing agency.

My experience in working in different wards has given me the exceptional capacity to work well within my scope of practice in a team environment. In addition, I have gained good decision-making and time management skills through my work experience and I believe in communicating well within the multidisciplinary team, colleagues as well as patients and their families.

I am an energetic and motivated nurse who is focused on providing top quality patient care. As a registered nurse I strive to do my best to care for my patients, recognise and respect their individual beliefs and values and maintain their dignity. All clients have a right to self-determination and I try to provide them with relevant information, education and support so they may make informed decisions about their health care. I believe that maintaining a safe, caring environment enables rapport to develop between nurse and client, opening communication and allowing client empowerment and healing.

Upon graduating from Queensland university of technology, I was selected to participate in a graduate program at Greenslopes private hospital. This gave me experience across a broad range of disciplines including mental, surgical and medical. It gave me strong experience in assessment planning, implementation and education.

Having worked in a multidisciplinary environment for the past 12 years has helped me develop concrete communication and time management skills to enable me to communicate effectively patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.

I will love to connect with self/plan managed clients between the age of 0-65 years and families to offer my expertise in achieving their goals at home/community. I have ABN, insurance, blue and yellow card, NDIS screening.

I am currently available on the following days

Friday 8-2pm (alternate)
